OmniAuth OpenID adapts legacy OpenID authentication to OmniAuth. Discovery and verification are delegated to the Rack and Ruby OpenID libraries, and the result becomes an OmniAuth UID and authentication hash. This is useful for maintaining applications that still accept OpenID identifiers.
