YARD YAML adds YAML documents to generated YARD documentation. Enable the plugin with --plugin yaml in .yardopts; converted pages are written beneath docs/yaml/. The README illustrates this with a project’s CITATION.cff, allowing structured project metadata to appear alongside API documentation.
